Three Super Bowl Food Recipes

As a sports fan, I usually enjoy watching the Super Bowl. This year, because the Seattle Seahawks are not there, I’m not sure how much attention I’ll be focusing on the game. But what I will be focusing on are delicious Super Bowl foods!

Whether you’re hosting a small party for your household or just needing some snacks for the commercials, below are three recipes that are perfect to enjoy during the Super Bowl!

Tater Tots Skewers

Nothing screams Super Bowl food like a little grease! Spice up your tater tots by turning them into kabobs, adding some yummy toppings!

  • Tater tots

  • Bacon bits

  • Cheddar cheese

  • Chopped green onions

  • Skewers

  1. Cook tater tots according to package instructions.

  2. Once they’re done cooking, let them cool briefly. Then add tater tots to skewers and place on baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Sprinkle cheese over tots, then bacon bits and green onions.

  4. Place baking sheet back in the oven and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, until cheese is gooey.

Garlic Pull-Aparts

This easy-to-assemble recipe is great for the game! Delicious garlic flavor combined with the ease of pull-aparts, count me in!

  • Tube of biscuits

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons parsley flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Open up tube of biscuits and cut pieces into quarters.

  3. Add biscuit pieces to a large bowl and mix in all ingredients with your hands.

  4. Spray muffin tin with nonstick spray, then place 3 biscuit pieces in each tin.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve with butter or enjoy on its own.

Football Deviled Eggs

A fun twist on a party classic! Turn everybody’s favorite hor d'oeuvre into the perfect game time snack!

  • 7 hard-boiled eggs, peeled

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons mayo

  • Salt

  • Chives

  1. Cut hard-boiled eggs in half and put yolk in a bowl.

  2. Add mayo, adding a little bit at a time. Mix together until the mixture is smoother and easier to manage. Mix in a bit of salt.

  3. Fill a sandwich bag with the yolk mixture. Cut the corner of the bag and pipe the mixture into the eggs.

  4. Cut up the chives into small pieces and arrange as football laces.
