S'mores Bars
A dessert that feels quintessentially like summer to me is s’mores. Roasting marshmallows over a roaring campfire, the chocolate melting out the sides of the graham cracker, nothing better!
To celebrate summer, I wanted to try out a new recipe that satisfied my sweet tooth and felt a little nostalgic. It’s very easy to make, with just four simple ingredients! It’s a great treat to bring camping, to an outdoor picnic, or just to have around the house!
S’mores Bars
2 cups crushed honey graham crackers
1/2 cup melted butter
2 packages of milk chocolate chips
1 package of mini marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 9x13 pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Place graham crackers into a small plastic bag and smash into small pieces and crumbs. Then, mix together crushed graham crackers and butter. Press evenly onto the bottom of the pan and bake for 8 minutes.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle on the chocolate chips, then top with a layer of marshmallows.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden.
Let cool, then place in the fridge. Once the pan is completely cool, cut into bars.
