Easy Strawberry Popsicles
Summer is almost here and you know what that means - a new recipe blog post! This recipe for homemade strawberry popsicles is perfect for summer and could not be more simple. It only requires three ingredients and makes six popsicles.
It started with a trip to Marshall’s. A couple months ago, I was shopping with my mom and found a silicone popsicle mold. The price was right, so I bought it. But since then, it’s been sitting in a drawer, not being used.
Then, last weekend, my mom and I picked strawberries at Swans Trail Farm in Snohomish. While pickings were light due to previous flooding, I did come home with two berry baskets full of strawberries. So, with all that in mind and the recent heat wave we’ve been experiencing in the greater Seattle area, it seemed like the perfect time to try out a new recipe!
I was so, so pleased with how these turned out that I wanted to share the easy recipe with you all!
Homemade Strawberry Popsicles
2 cups of strawberries
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup water
Cut off the strawberry stems.
Combine the three ingredients in a blender and mix together.
Pour the liquid mixture into a silicone mold then freeze overnight.
Enjoy the next day!
Pro tip: if you’re struggling to get your popsicle out of the mold, run lukewarm water over the mold and slowly take it out.
